Named ‘Kittyhawk’ by the RAF and ‘Warhawk’ in the USA, P-40s were supplied to British, French, Chinese and Russian forces and flown at almost all fronts.

Depicted aircraft belonged to the 112th Squadron, 262nd Wing and was based at Sidi Haneish and flown by the RAF in Egypt.
